Overview

Tayo Climate Partners was engaged by Faeger Corporation, a company developing carbon projects under Japan’s Joint Crediting Mechanism, to act as government liaison and farmer engagement and training specialist in its first Alternate Wetting and Drying project in the Philippines.

Faeger works with farmers to generate and commercialize agricultural carbon credits, helping create new environmental value in agriculture. By returning the value of certified credits to producers, the company supports corporate decarbonization and encourages ongoing greenhouse gas–reduction practices in the farming sector.

Tayo’s dedicated team of sustainable rice and AWD experts leverages their experience working with smallholder farmers to grow Faeger’s AWD program in the Pampanga, Bataan, Tarlac and Bulacan in the Philippines.
